We are looking for the ideal candidate with extensive knowledge and experience to provide program acquisition logistics recommendations, program coordination and guidance to support the decision-making process for PM SW Product Directors. Location: Picatinny Arsenal, NJ


The Contractor is required to attend and lead Logistics Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, provide research, analyses, and reviews. The Contractor shall also review and provide comments on reports and prepare original acquisition documents. These efforts will be provided in support of research and development, production and fielding of small caliber ammunition, weapon systems, and accessories.


  1. Provide technical program acquisition related recommendations and direct oversight pertaining to PMSW projects Soldier Enhancement Program (SEP) related accessory and support equipment programs throughout their life cycle.
  2. Support the Test IPT in development of test plans as well as presentation/reporting of test activities and data.
  3. Provide recommendations to the Director of Logistics as representative for PM SW as a primary POC with regard to executing and supporting Unique Identification (UID) for Small Arms.
  4. Provide expertise and coordination assistance in the continued implementation of all of PM Soldier Weapons Unique Identifier Description (UID) initiatives (assistance will require interface with DOD policy, HQ AMC, depot activities, and TACOM functional representatives.
  5. Coordinate development of IUID marking procedures in coordination with ARDEC and TACOM.
  6. Lead Logistics POC for Materiel Release (MR) tracking for PM SW.
  7. Loads PM available assets into the Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S).
  8. Perform review of logistics engineering and ILS documents for completeness and synchronization to the individual program's objectives.


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the US Army logistics process as it relates to armament systems.
  • Knowledge of Army Regulations (e.g., AR 700-127) and the documentation requirements for DoD Milestones, Type Classification, and Materiel Release (AR 700-142) is required.
  • Extensive military background is desired to understand the logistics implications at both the Soldier and Unit level.
  • Extensive acquisition logistics, experience is required to in order to understand and perform Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) tasks required during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Production and Deployment (P&D) phases.
  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • SECRET security clearance REQUIRED
