We are looking for the ideal candidate with extensive knowledge and experience providing Program level Logistics Support to provide project lead responsibilities tp Product Director between industry Product Systems Integrator and Product Director.

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

  • Provides Project Lead responsibilities to Product Director (Pd) between industry Product System Integrator (PSI) and Pd.
  • Participates in Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Contracts and Budget meetings and reports items of interest to leadership.
  • Coordinates and facilitates quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMR) with PSI. Develops and update briefing slides displaying status of personnel, training, engineering change proposals and equipment locations for use at recurring meetings between Pd and the PSI to review their progress on contract execution.
  • Schedules review sessions of materials with team to prepare for meetings with PSI. Provides pre-briefs of materials to Pd leadership.
  • Develops and provides input into SES, GO, PM, PEO and Theater level briefing packages for the Pd.
  • Tracks metrics as directed by Pd leadership and develop slides to present metric performance to Pd on a recurring basis.
  • Reviews draft Army acquisition materials and provides comments and recommended changes to leadership.
  • Reviews CDRL deliveries and provide comments on a recurring basis.
  • Provides support to Pd on the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) mission.
  • Reviews daily submissions from CBP operating sites regarding status of operations, training and personnel.
  • Participates in weekly telephone conferences with CBP and PSM to review site operations and discuss any issues at sites.
  • Informs Pd leaderships of any problems at CBP sites requiring leadership’s awareness or action.
  • Review logistic documentation (i.e. technical Manuals, training materials, milestone documentation) and contract deliverables for accuracy and provide comments for improvements/corrections prior to staffing for final leadership approval.
  • BA/BS preferred
  • 5+ years experience (Eight years of direct related experience may be substituted for Degree)
  • Experience with Terrestrial Sensor Systems
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to prepare documents for Materiel Release, brief at program reviews and board meetings, monitor deliveries/shipments, and assist with scheduling hardware availability.
  • US Citizen
  • SECRET security clearance REQUIRED
