*THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON GOVERNMENT AWARD and CLEARANCE VERIFICATION*

We are looking for the ideal candidate with extensive knowledge and experience to provide program acquisition logistics recommendations, program coordination and guidance to support the decision-making process for PM SW Product Directors.

Location: Picatinny Arsenal, NJ

Responsibilities

  1. Provide Logistics Analyst support.

  2. Attend and lead Logistics Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings

  3. Provide research, analyses, and reviews.

  4. Review and provide comments on reports and prepare original acquisition documents (efforts will be provided in support of research and development, production and fielding of small caliber ammunition, weapon systems, and accessories).

  5. Provide technical program acquisition related recommendations and direct oversight pertaining to PMSW projects Soldier Enhancement Program (SEP) related accessory and support equipment programs throughout their life cycle.

  6. Provide Accessory Fielding coordination (includes support to PM-SW providing planning, coordination and asset request calculations support to lethality accessory Fielding to PM-SW, and its business partners).

  7. Make recommendations to the Director, Logistics (fielding support includes planning, coordinating and tracking accessories to Army units.

  8. Assesses and Trouble Decision Support Tool (DST) Proposed Sourcing Solution (PSD) Coordination (DST PSD) issues.

  9. Prepare monthly reports to the Director of Logistics.

  10. Respond to inquiries from and coordinates with PMs, PEO staff and G8 SSOs.

  11. Maintain and update local asset and unit databases.

  12. Provide an estimate of projected travel

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the US Army logistics process as it relates to armament systems.

Knowledge of Army Regulations (e.g., AR 700-127) and the documentation requirements for DoD Milestones, Type Classification, and Materiel Release (AR 700-142) is required.

Extensive military background is desired to understand the logistics implications at both the Soldier and Unit level.

Extensive acquisition logistics, experience is required to in order to understand and perform Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) tasks required during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Production and Deployment (P&D) phases.

Effective written and verbal communication
