Overview
Software Professional Solutions (SPS) is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve as Senior Operations Specialist that will provide support and guidance for Army acquisition process.  This position will be located at Picatinny Arsenal NJ

This position requires U.S. citizenship. Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement operational and administrative policies, procedures, and processes relating both to higher levels of management and organizational facilities and personnel
  • Establish and implement day-to-day administrative management tasks
  • Provide support for the review, editing, and tracking of Acquisition Process documentation, including technical and decision-review documents
  • Assist Systems Acquisition professionals in developing program procurement packages
  • Advise leaders on managing inquiries from senior Army leaders and Congress for high visibility programs
  • Stay up-to-date with Army initiatives and news
  • Utilize information management applications utilized across the ASA(ALT) enterprise, such as Tasker Management System (TMS) and Global Electronic Approval and Routing System (GEARS)
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in providing operation/administrative support in a Project Management or Program Executive Office staff including effectively representing product/project managers' positions to higher headquarters and Other Government Agencies (OGAs).
  • Knowledge and experience in Army operational and administrative policies, procedures, processes and regulations, and the ability to interpret, formulate and evaluate a position for implementation, and make succinct recommendations to leadership for approval and action.
  • Experience in preparing original reports, plans, policies and briefings senior leaders, and with planning, coordinating, and executing VIP visits and conferences.
  • Knowledge and experience with small arms and their development programs from program initiation through production and support, and experience advising PM leadership on managing inquiries from executive/senior leaders about high visibility programs; stays current with Army news and initiatives.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing and interacting with information management applications utilized across the ASA(ALT) enterprise, such as Tasker Management System (TMS) and Global Electronic Approval and Routing System (GEARS).
  • Demonstrates the knowledge, capabilities, and an understanding of the requirements. Resume of proposed personnel shall be provided to further support Offeror’s proposal in regard to the level of the personnel’s technical knowledge and capabilities.
