We are seeking an Acquisitions Program Analyst that is responsible for supporting our DoD customer in developing program or administrative financial reporting; developing and recommending guidance on program financial planning and risk management; assisting the PM in evaluating the workload/cost impact against the program budget. Candidate will monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.  This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to understand the Program and track Program events and activities at a broad level.

Location: Picatinny Arsenal , NJ

Security: Active Secret Required 

Requirements/Skills: Successful candidates will possess skills in the following areas: 

  • Army Program Management Office (PMO) experience
  • Understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process
  • Familiar with the Army Systems Acquisition Review Council (ASARC) process
  • Familiar with the Defense Acquisition Board (DAB) process
  • Ability to analyze financial data and determine variance-Preparation of internal and external customer-required financial
  • Collects and completes, organizes and interprets technical data and financial information for communication systems and networks
  • Must have an understanding of revenue reconciliation and cost
  • Experience with Army Budget planning process and tools such as GFEBS
  • Experienced in preparing obligation plans and spend plans
  • Experienced preparing Smart Charts for DoD Programs
  • Must have knowledge of multiple contract types (T&M, FP, Cost Plus)
  • Highly organized
  • Understanding of the importance of data accuracy and integrity-Review, reconcile, and analyze Accounts Receivables against the customer payment system
  • May include supervisory responsibility or mentoring
  • Microsoft Office 2007
  • Government Contracting
  • Program Control, budget & forecasting
  • Security Requirements: Secret Clearance required

Education:

BS/BA degree in related field and 5 years of experience
